Hobbies or things you are good at（趣味、特技） My main hobby is Aikido, the practice, but also all the spiritual heritage coming from the Shinto religion. I also enjoy outdoor-activities and being in contact with nature. 主な趣味は合気道を練習することですが、また神道にも興味があります。またアウトドアな活動や自然と触れ合うことも楽しんでいます。 3. Your hometown（出身地）: My hometown is in Provence, in south-east Franc. It is a region famous for the aromatic flowers of lavender it is carrying during the warmest days of the year. 私の故郷はフランスの南東にあるプロバンスです。プロバンスはアロマの花ラベンダーで有名な地域で、一年で一番暖かい時期にはたくさんのいい香りのラベンダーが咲いています。 4. Your favorite place in the Kumano area（熊野地方のお気に入りの場所） Probably Hongu and Nachi Taisha. 本宮と那智大社だと思います。 5. Your favorite food（好きな食べ物） My favourite food is “Pasta al Pesto” 好きな食べ物はバジルソースのパスタです。 6. A place in the world that you recommend for visiting.（世界の中でお勧めの場所） I have lived in Tahiti for the last couple of years. It is a wonderful country you might enjoy for the beauty of its Nature and the joyful simplicity of its inhabitants. I especially recommend the most remote parts, like the Tuamotu coral islands for example. ここに来る前２，３年タヒチに住んでいました。とても素晴らしい国で、自然の美しさ、明るくて無邪気な現地の人々に会うことをみなさんも楽しむことが出来るでしょう。例えばツアモツ諸島のような人里離れた場所など特にお勧めです。 7. It is a great way to challenge yourself, make friends, gain a new skill, and share international experiences. 英語学習、もしくはその他の言語学習は新しい自分を発見する多くの機会を作ります。それは自分自身への挑戦であったり、友達を作ったり、新しい技能を身に付けたり、そして国際的な経験を分かち合う事への素晴らしい手段となるでしょう。 2. Hobbies or things you are good at（趣味、特技） I love anything that allows me to be creative, so I enjoy sewing, making jewelry, and creative writing. I also like playing video games and reading in my spare time. 私は何よりも創作することが大好きです。裁縫やアクセサリー作り、執筆などをして楽しみます。時間があれば、読書やゲームなどをする事も好きです。 3. Your hometown（出身地）: My hometown is St. John’s, Newfoundland, Canada. 出身地はカナダのニューファンドランド州セントジョンズ市です。 4. Your favorite place in the Kumano area（熊野地方のお気に入りの場所） I love the castle ruins in Shingu. It is a beautiful place for Hanami, and all year round. 新宮城跡が大好きです。お花見の時期はもちろん、1年を通して美しい場所です。 5. Your favorite food（好きな食べ物） My favourite food is sushi! 好きな食べ物は寿司です。 6. A place in the world that you recommend for visiting.（世界の中でお勧めの場所） A place I would recommend is my own home, Newfoundland. It is a beautiful place to experience nature, the people are very friendly, and there is a very strong artistic community. 私のお勧めする場所は私の故郷のニューファンドランドです。そこは自然を満喫でき、人々は親しみ深く、芸術について根強い地域です。 7. Something you are interested in doing with your students or learning from them(生徒と一緒にしたいこと、または生徒から学びたいこと） I would love to learn as much as I can about Japanese culture and the Japanese language, so anything I can learn from my students about Japan would be great. 私は出来る限り多くの日本文化と日本語を学びたいです。生徒から日本について学ぶことができることは素晴らしい事だと思います。 8. A message for your students（生徒へのメッセージ） Learning English can be very fun, but can also be difficult at times. It is most rewarding when you finally understand parts of a new language and can use them freely. But please remember that making mistakes and not being sure of yourself is all a part of learning, so have fun with it, and try your best, because you do not need to do things perfectly right away. 英語学習は面白いと同時に、時折難しい時もあります。それは最終的に新しい言語を一つ一つ理解し、自由にその言語を使いこなせるようになるという最もやりがいのあるものです。だから、間違えたり、分からなくなってしまった時もそれは学習の中の一つの事として楽しむ、そして最善を尽くす事をどうぞ忘れないでください。だって、すぐに完璧に使いこなす必要なんてないのですから。 |
